It was a beautiful day for Autumn Fest! The Tutor Village was filled with people enjoying music, food, reptiles, and a host of fallish activities. Atlanta Pro AV provided the SL-100 Stage and db Technologies Digital Vertical Line Array Sound System. Stand-out performances by The Jess Goggans Band and Tribute were warmly received and got the audience dancing. Over 10,000 people attended this neighborhood festival. See you next year!
"Thanks so much for all your hard work to make AutumnFest's entertainment a success this year. I think I can speak for everyone involved that this was the best stage, sound and service we have ever had at our event. It made such a difference in the experience both from the organizers perspective and the festival goers. We heard from folks all weekend how impressed they were with the music and the level of excellence in presentation. Additionally, all the staff, from the guys who assembled the stage to the sound techs were friendly and helpful-which made everything run smoothly."
The Georgia Dome called Atlanta Pro AV to install a new video design that included 27 NEC matrixed HD displays with automation Crestron Programming. The one catch, it had to be completed within a couple of weeks, in-time for the new Atlanta Falcon's Season to kickoff.
Our install team got to work. Within a week product had shipped and integration planning had begun. On time, and on budget our team finished all aspects of the installation and The Falcons beat the Seats in the opening game!

Eddie's Attic is arguably the most iconic music venue in Atlanta, or Decatur if you want to be exact. The venue's reputation for being adored by discriminating musicians and songwriters should be credited to the management. Their whisper policy and pristine sound reinforcement has been a hallmark that has made Eddie's great. Legendary concert promoter Alex Cooley has purchased the venue with the intent to not only maintain these high standards, but improve upon them. He reached out to us for the installation and rigging for the new d&b audiotechnik sound system. Helping us along the way was master carpenter Wallace Stamey and his company http://www.woodworksdecatur.com/.
We are very happy with the results and so are the patrons! If you haven't heard the new P.A., please take time to attend one of the amazing shows they have coming up! Let us know what you think.

There have been so many great wireless products that have come out in the past year. We make use of several regularly.
For our commercial installation purposes nothing is easier to use for sharing presentations than Barco's Clickshare. It recently won AV Magazine's 'Collaboration Product of the Year’. The entry level model is $1750.00 and come with two usb share buttons.
The Clickshare scales the resolution automatically and makes it simple for anyone with a laptop or mobile device to share their screen. Ask anyone at Atlanta Pro AV to set up a demo for your conference room today!
Our next wireless product that we love and represent is Peerless' HD Flow.
It wirelessly transmits HD Video up to 131ft!!!!
It has unbelievable clarity. You can't tell it is wireless! It has come in handy in many applications. We have streamed camera and audio feeds through walls at red carpet events at the Fox Theatre. It has come in very handy in installations when architectural features won't allow invasive drilling or cutting.
Finally we have used Enttec's Art Net device ODE for several lighting applications. Live events and architectural lighting can both be integrated wirelessly when using the ODE Art-Net device with a 3rd party app like Luminair. Luminair lets you use any ios device to control RGB fixtures, Intelligent fixtures, and dmx devices.
Stop letting your AV company leave tangled cables around and call Atlanta Pro AV for your wireless audio-visual solutions!
We always try to support the arts whenever possible. Whether it's by donating equipment to a non-profit organization like Dashboard Co Op, or by helping art festivals like Flux Night. Realizing an artist's vision by taking it from conception to design is an incredible experience.
Here are some examples of art projects for which we have had the pleasure to participate.
We were recently tasked by the general manager of The Buckhead Club to provide a digital signage solution for their meeting rooms. The days of printing, cutting/editing, and re-printing pieces of paper to display meeting information had become a frustratingly arduous task.
I knew that the existing finished ceiling and thick fire-walls would make it a challenge to run network cable back to the office from the meeting rooms. Thanks to our friends at Gefen, we had wireless options. Knowing that the club didn't want to spend a fortune, we were happy to discover the reasonably priced Gefen's digital signage players.
Our lead technician Sean Griffiths devised a wooden housing that could be easily modified to account for the wiring, conduit, and other unknown obstacles. I initially thought of using prefabricated metal boxes, but the wood made the system much more practical. A simple yet elegant framing was inexpensively purchased from Home Depot, along with a red mahogany stain to match the club's interior decor.
Most business professionals are familiar with Powerpoint, and the Gefen software made it easy since it integrates seamlessly with any version. The system not only is user-friendly with powerpoint, but many other universal file-types are supported. The players can display full 1080p video content with stereo audio. A client can have a dynamic video with sound to greet their attendees. Gefen has truly modernized digital signage with an affordable, innovative wireless product. Atlanta Pro AV
