Atlanta Pro AV provided all of the audio visual for the Microsoft Champions Awards reception at The Omni Hotel @ CNN Center. We flew several pin-spots, par 46, and Source 4 Lekos from the ceiling to provide the stage lighting, gobo projection, and accent lighting for the beautifully arranged flowers, deserts, and hors d'oeuvres. We also designed the stage by rigging Lycra and we discreetly incorporated our JBL powered P.A. system and Shure wireless microphones.It was my honor to meet Kevin Turner, the current Chief Operating Officer of MS. His story is one that fully realizes the "American Dream". He started as a cashier at Walmart and worked his way up to be named CEO of Wal-Mart's subsidiary corporation, Sam's Warehouse. He now is the #2 man at MS.
The best and brightest at Microsoft were recognized and we were happy to play a part.
